Come get excited about the upcoming Summer Olympics in London by participating or volunteering in our NEIGHBORHOOD OLYMPICS! There will be events for the whole family, plus individual and team activities. Anyone is invited to the awesome FREE event. Come for all or a little and catch the Olympic spirit!

Olympic Pancake Breakfast
7:00 am
Come join us for a yummy pancake breakfast at the church pavilion. After you finish breakfast and are waiting for the games to begin you can hone your skills on the events that are set up.

We will walk around flags from various countries around the world to start off the festivities.
Torch Run
The first event of the morning will be a torch relay. There will be torches for athletes to carry and pass the flame. And just to make it more fun, and a little more competitive, some legs of the relay will have obstacles or other skills to be tested.
The winning team may get the honor of lighting the amazing Olympic Cauldron.
LET THE GAMES BEGIN

Basketball - shooting from Xs on the ground with the fastest time
Soccer - kick over pins to get the most points
Sailing - rain gutter regatta
Penta-throw - Javelin
Shot put
Discus
Lawn darts
Bean bag toss
Group Events
Basketball - Lightning
Soccer - 5 min play with shoot out at the end
Volleyball - beach ball first to 11 points
Final Event
Awards
Winners will receive official Neighborhood Olympic Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals to proudly wear.
After Party 8:30 pm
Olympic Celebration
Come over to the McShinsky's backyard for Olympic slide show of today's events and an Olympic movie on the big screen outside.
Please bring chairs or a blanket to sit on.
Fireworks will be involved
